The Gate D’Amboise is located on the northwest side of the medieval castle of Rhodes and is the closest gate to the Palace of the Knights. It was named after Grand Master Emery D’Amboise. The Gate is protected by two imposing cylindrical towers and next to it is the strongest bastion of the city, the bastion of Agios Georgios.
It has an excellent two-storey cultural space with an exit to the medieval moat and is a place for walks and events.
