The area round the Profylia village in southern Rhodes has an extremely natural beauty. It is covered in natural pine forests and is a shelter of the rich plant life of the area, which is protected be the European Natura 2000 network, as this is the place where the Dama-Dama deer live. In a location outside the village there is a waterfall with cool water flowing from high, creating a magnificent landscape and giving a nice feeling from the sound of the flowing water.
